The name’s Carrey, Jim Carrey. During his life, he has held various eccentric jobs, such as being Count Olaf or Ace Ventura, but now he has finally found the job of his dreams, one that truly uses his potential to it’s maximum. Wait for it… Animal control agent!

On the day of his birthday, he is bitten by a dog going by the name of Ned [14(N) + 5(E) + 5(D)]= 23. He then lets the dog go and then because of what happened, that has now made him late for his pitiful birthday party! He picks up his wife at the bookstore and that’s where he sees it. The book! Thrilling, don’t you agree? The wife ends up buying the book and, after reading a few chapters, Jimmy-Boy finds out that the number 23’s (that’s the name of the said book) main character is a detective that has had the same life as him, and is obsessed by the number 23. Jim, once again proving he has no brain, decides to do the same. Oh snap!

So six years have passed since the successful Rush Hour 2, but the style of this new movie remains the same. So the two crime busing ‘heroes’ Chris Tucker & Jackie Chan are the crime-fighting partners following an assassination attempt on Chinese Ambassador Han (Tzi Ma) by a member of the Triad gang.

The movie is based in 2 locations America (LA) & France (Paris), and along the way they stumble upon an equal amount of clues and trouble, both of which culminate when they meet the gorgeous Noemie Lenoir known as Genevieve in the movie. She proves an integral piece to the puzzle however, literally revealing secrets with each layer of her “wardrobe”…

So let’s get onto the actors. Firstly Chris Tucker in this movie is true to himself portraying more of a comedian than anything else. The once raunchy, indefatigable comic who plays Carter of the LAPD appears really unenthusiastic; his target audience wold seem to be the children who will probably watch this film. In fact, he relies too heavily on the pitfalls in Rush Hour 3. There are a few instances in which Chris Tucker puts his “motor mouth” to good use though and we see glimpses of his former natural self, but the lasting impression is of him coming out with his somewhat “funny” lines in a safe manor whereas before he used to swing for the fences.

Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts School of Magic for a difficult fifth year, forced to face public ridicule, an abusive new teacher and the tumults of teenage love.

After a summer of isolations, harry returns to the magic community only to discover he is the mockery of the wizard media – The Daily Prophet. Few believe in the suspected return of Lord Voldemort, which Harry experienced first hand at the end of hos fourth year at Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

On top of this, just before school tarts, two Dementors show up at Little Whinging, and attempt to give Harry and his loathed cousin Dudley, the Kiss Of Death, and harry is forced to summon the Patronus charm to send them off. However, those of you that have read the books will know that harry is underage ad is not permitted to use magic outside of school grounds, and also he is not permitted to use magic in front of muggles. Harry is promptly threatened with exclusion.

Brief Synopsis:
A gun-for-hire known only as Agent 47 is ensnared in a political conspiracy which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe hired by a group known as “The Agency” to kill targets for cash.

Detailed Synopsis & Review:
The opening scene bursts with classic instrumental music with a feamle voice singing in harmony. As the opening credits slide in and out view, you see small excerpts of what appears to be the birth of the assassins. Acknowledged by numbers and not names, they are the necessary evil, required to wash the bad from this Earth.

This was the movie adaptation of the video game, Hitman, starring Timothy Olyphant as our main character, 47. The first thing to strike me during the film was 47’s ability to turn down even the most beautiful of females. He acts almost machine-like and is only focused on his occupation and the task at hand. The storyline may also confuse some as the scenes skip rather quickly in certain places. This can make watching the movie a chore but careful concentration can eliminate this. During the introduction to 47’s character and the story in hand, we can see that our hero is plagued by his upbringing as he endures flashbacks when carrying out daily tasks.

Hitman features some of the greatest action scenes I have seen to date. You’ll find that you are constantly peering down the sights of a rifle as if you are the one taking the shot. Incredibly, the creators of the movie have included realistic blood and gore which is a reminder of real life assassinations.

“The Bourne Ultimatum” is the latest and final movie in the “Bourne” trilogy. Matt Damon plays Jason Bourne, a super-agent built up through tough times, and rough training. Bourne goes rogue as he no longer feels following assassination orders is the right thing to do. After months of running from the CIA and various other organizations, Bourne pops back onto the radar as he starts to try to reveal his past, all he knows is that he is a member of “Treadstone” and he was the only agent created in it.

Jason Bourne is determined to find out his true roots. He notices a newspaper editor has been writing about him, so Bourne comes out of hiding to meet him and discovers that his journalist is already on the CIA’s hit list, mainly due to the fact that he knows too much about Bourne and Treadstone.

After much action and many explosions, Jason Bourne will find out who he really is. You come to know his real name, the intentions of “Black briar” mentioned in The Bourne Identity and how Jason Bourne is killed… not During the movie we find out that Bourne is actually a human, and he does have feelings for everything that he does. He even mentions that he can’t remember the faces of those he has killed, and that he regrets killing them – He admits this to Nicky, an old friend from Treadstone.
